DMRC invites tender for supply of ballastless track in elevated section of Mumbai Metro Line 2A

New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) invited tender for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Ballastless Track work of Standard Gauge from Dahisar East (Ch. 414.348) to Kamraj Nagar (including Ch. 8579.434) elevated sections of Mumbai Metro Line – 2A Corridor along with Ballastless Track up to Charkop Depot.



NIT for the work, Contract MT – 5“Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Ballastless Track work of Standard Gauge, from Dahisar East (Ch. -414.348) to Kamraj Nagar (including) (Ch. 8579.434) Elevated Sections of Line 2A, Corridor along with Ballastless Tracks up to Charkop Depot of Mumbai Metro Rail Project at Mumbai”


The estimated cost of work is INR 48.04 Lakh. Tender documents can be purchased from 17.04.2018 (0900 hrs) to 16.05.2018 (up to 1600 hrs).

Pre-bid meeting fixed on 25.04.2018 at 1000 hrs in the office of Executive Director/Contracts, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, 5th floor, A-Wing, Metro Bhawan, Fire Brigade Lane, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi-110001 (near Barakhambha Metro Station).


Last date of submission of bid is 16.05.2018 up to 1600 hrs and bid will be opened on 17.05.2018 at 1600 hrs.


The Mumbai Metro 2A corridor will be 18.5 km long and connect Dahisar East to DN Nagar. The corridor will have 16 stations – Anand Nagar, Rushi Sankul, I C Colony, Eksar, Don Bosco, Shimpoli, Mahavir Nagar, Kamraj Nagar, Charkop, Malad Metro, Kasturi Park, Bangur Nagar, Goregaon Metro, Adarsha Nagar, Shastri Nagar and DN Nagar. It will have interchange with Line 1 at DN Nagar and Line 7 at Dahisar. Line 2B will connect DN Nagar to Mankhurd via BKC. Line 2A is estimated to cost around ₹6,410 crore.
